MORE MINI-FRUIT


Today I've got little, round pears and pesche tabbacchiere - the snuffbox-shaped peaches that I show you every year, because every year they surprise me again with their delicate flavour.

Those are odd shapes indeed! They must be typically Sicilian versions of those fruit, we don't get them over here in Puglia.

They're called "doughnut peaches" in Winchester market (and jolly good!)

Yes, they must be a special variety grown only in Sicily.
